Saw that.  Preordered without hesitation.  Hope he tours near Iowa City soon.

Man, this guy knows how to make a record. This new album is fantastic. I submit that M Ward might be the most underrated musician/arranger on the planet!

Now if he would just make his way north. Excluding the MOF gig in 2009, he hasn't done a show in Toronto in almost ten years! My one takeaway from that show was "Holy shit, M Ward might be the best guitar player I've ever seen." An effortless surgeon with an axe.
