Has anyone listened to his new album titled Awaken, My Love! ?
Feels like it could be almost be a companion album with Eternally Even. Tons of soul, funk influence, unique vocals...a really complete album.
I've been aware of Donald Glover's work as Childish Gambino but never took time to check him out as rap had kinda faded from my musical rotation. But this album is fantastic and I highly recommend it.
He performed on the Tonight Show last night:

pvb, i love this record. so groovy and beautiful. it does make a good companion to eternally even: they feel right in the same emotional zone.
i'd heard just a bit of childish gambino's earlier songs but didn't click with any of them. the first time i heard a song from this album i was hooked.
