After the new EP came out, I couldnt help but think of when they played those two nights with the Boston Pops and how awesome that would have sounded. Does anyone have a decent recording of either of these nights?
It never surfaced. A few board members hinted at possibly getting their hands on it. If they did, they didn't share. The only thing I saw from these performances was a handful of crappy youtube videos.
I'm glad you put a ? at the end of that subject line.
My.....well, you know, was aroused! :-?
I apologize for the false arousal.
I can't believe I didn't go to this. I could have, but I'd just learned about MMJ and tickets were expensive, or something. Still kicking myself.
I do believe Ryan (of recent Candles and Panties fame) records every show live from the soundboard for his own personal collection. A recording, therefore, does exist. Whether anyone beyond the band has gotten their hands on it, that's an entirely different matter. I've not heard anything thus far.
I want it. Can I have it please? I have money.

Im just wondering but is your name a Seinfeld quote??

You gotta love the Drake! 8-)
I hate the Drake! >:(
Actually that was our code word for our useless boss, whenever we felt like complaining about her without using her actual name.
I assume you are not useless (you are a MMJ Fan)
Anyways, the Boston Show was my first MMJ show, I had great seats on the floor, with waitress service and the like. Run Thru was unfucking believable arguably the best song I ever seen them perform.
The only problem I had with the concert was Patrick's drums. For some reason he had to play 80's style electric drums.
* Jerry: You don't like the Drake?
* George: Hate the Drake.
* Elaine: I *love* the Drake.
* Jerry: How could you not like the Drake?
* George: Who's the Drake?
* Elaine: "Who's the Drake"?
* Jerry: The Drake is good!

Elaine: Drake gave her the TV?
Jerry: He gave her all the gifts; he felt guilty.
Elaine: Well, she can't keep it, it's not fair, that's *our* TV!
Jerry: I know it is!
Elaine: Boy, I am really starting to dislike the Drake!
Jerry: I hate the Drake! Maybe the whole thing was a scam. Anybody can just get engaged and get
presents and just keep them all. Maybe they're on their way to Chicago tomorrow and do the whole
thing all over again.
Elaine: They don't know anybody in Chicago.
Jerry: Don't worry, they'll make friends fast with that nice TV.
(George enters)
George: Hey.
Jerry: Hey, guess what? The Drake broke up.
George (excited): The Drake broke up?! That's fantastic! Now we get the TV back! It'll help defray
some of the cost of the wheelchair.
Jerry: I don't know about defraying.
George: Why?
Jerry: We're not gettin' that TV.
George: What do you mean? The engagement is off, we get the TV back. That's business.
Elaine: The Drakette took it.
George: She can't take it. It's not hers, it's theirs. Once there's no theirs there's no hers, it
should be ours.
Elaine: Well, she has it!
George (upset): I *told* you the Drake was bad! I hate the Drake!
Good stuff! It took 100 posts here before someone made that connection. Good work, sir.
The YouTube is the best we've got, I fear
There may be clearance issues with ever officially releasing it (namely, the Pops would take a HUGE fucking cut), but I could see a Trent Reznor-style "oops" leak happening
i've been working on this for a while. a friend i got a job for has a brother in-law in the pops and most likely played with them that night. too bad he's a weirdo and parted ways with the company but i am going to bug him about it again next time i see him...
