Good call.  If I lived in the area then I definitely would go.  The schedule said JJ will have about an hour, which is pretty solid.  And that alone will be well worth the weeknight outing.  The other stuff could be good too.    Don't forget to report back afterwards.

This was a solo show right? Wonder how SOTA and I'm amazed sounded acoustic/solo.

Solo yes.
Not acoustic... he was plugged in.
Help from David Givans on drums on a few songs.
I have to say solo/stripped I'm Amazed is better imo. This has become a song I can do without at shows, but... Jim, his guitar, and his voice = special treat version of I'm Amazed 👍

I didn't see anyone recording. It had a different feel than a normal Jim/MMJ show. Random people there for random different reasons. Still a great experience.
Throwback and Over and Over got me pumped for the new album.

Forgot that he played these tunes at Lock'n, I said it then and I guess my feelings haven't changed after listening again this morning.. Jim's solo acoustic stuff does nothing for me.. just a little too kumbiya for my tastes.

Wait..

So you're telling me songs like Bermuda Highway,  I Will Be There When You Die, Hopefully and I Needed It Most do nothing for you?  That part of a jacket show where the cloud of distortion dust settles and Jim comes out with just his acoustic and breathes glowing, holy light onto everyone is a let down for you?

Wow.
