Title: Jim Tour GA arrival question
Post by: Zutroy on Nov 15, 2018, 10:59 AM
Qs for those of you who have already seen the current solo tour in a GA format.

When did you arrive relative to when the doors opened?
How were your seats?
If you had it to do over again, do you wish you had gotten their earlier?

These are all pretty tiny venues so I don't want to be a spaz, but years of concert going has made me focus on logistics, especially for a GA show.

Thanks!

In Chicago the doors opened at 6:30. I got in line around 6:15 with maybe 20 people in front of me. It was very casual and people took their time coming in. I was able to get perfect seats no problem. I could have gotten 2nd row if I had wanted.

I personally would have liked to get to the LA show earlier so that we could have seen Alynda's set, but being LA and coming up on a Friday night, I was happy to make it to see Jim's set.  Walked in, grabbed a beer (which you had to drink in the entryway area) then went upstairs and Jim came on about 5 minutes later.  I think we got there around 8:15.
