I just watched the entire Rockpalast DVD last night and was in extacy!  Such a small venue, very quiet Germans, you could hear every little nuance and mistake.  Highlights from this viewing: Phone Went West into a very heartfelt Dondante into Run Thru.  I kept a pan under my chin to catch the drippings.

johnny, i downloaded your MP3s and when I played them/burned them on a CD the sound was was compared to......remember back in the day, when you had a walkman and the battery was low and it played at a slower tempo than normal, that's what it sounds like.  Anyone else had this problem? I deleted and downloaded again and it did the same thing. Any idea why?

Sorry, guys.  After watching it, I threw up the mp3 file I had without checking it out first.  Truth is, I've only listened to Rockpalast while watching the DVD.  I knew I'd downloaded the audio, as well, probably from The Steam Engine, but hadn't listened to just the mp3s.  I'll check into this further when I'm home.
