I talked to theguys in toronto and they said they're done recording and the album work is being designed. They said the record will be out in Aug.
Maybe they would accept sexual favors for a copy now? :-* I would do almost anything... hmmmm... But I don't think I'm their type. :'( Too bad - they're the kind of guys that will make another guy doubt his sexuality, aren't they? Or is that just me?

I'm listening to live-versions of the new songs at the moment and I've got the feeling that if songs like "Rollin'Back", "Mahgeeta" and "Dance floors" are what the new album's gonna be like, I've got the feeling that it will be a very light, positive record. The weird thing is, I wasn't entirely happy with that discovery. I mean, I always liked the sadness in their songs, the shredding heaviness in stuff like "I will be there", "Strangulation", "If all else fails", you name 'em. The new songs are pretty groovy and nice, but not heartbreaking. Then again, "Steam engine" is (god, I love that song), so maybe I'm just talking bullshit here. Oh, hell, I just wanna hear that album so bad, I'm already having opinions about it. So, just ignore this babbling and let's all keep waiting impatiently. :)

August 21st is a Thursday. I talked to Tom in Boulder he said August 19th which is a Tuesday. And we all know CD's come out on Tuesday (here in the US).

I was hoping it was gonna be a My Morning Jacket Summer this year. Looks like it's gonna be autumn. Well, I guess I'll have yet another R.E.M. Summer. It's funny, but every summer I buy one or two R.E.M. albums and I'm totally into that band all summer. So this year, I'll be totally freaked on R.E.M. in the summer, and then I can put my MMJ-posters on the wall again. Ah, lovely months are coming! :)
