:'( Well - we know that WE are going to buy the record, and we know that all of our friends are going to buy the record. And in my case, I've heard that my friends friends are going to buy the record. Hopefully, the true music lovers will realize that this band is too great to rip off, and they will buy the record anyway. Am I being too optimistic?

hell, no....in my experience many people who download are also the majority who go out and buy records...they are the music lovers- it's just another outlet...I downloaded the new evan dando album months before it came out...i just got it on vinyl....i do that a lot

It's another one of those Napster replacements, a music peer to peer service where you can download just about anything.

Not a silly question as there are an ocean of sites that offer music downloads...it's impossible to know em all!
