Title: question about the early recordings
Post by: darkglow on Feb 06, 2005, 03:38 PM
ok.. here's my situation.

i got a waterproof shower cd player for christmas, and in the mornings i listen to 'at dawn'ish stuff.. like kid rock's midnight train to memphis, bremuda highway, golden, lowdown, phil collins' in the air tonight.. you get the picture i guess. i was really happy to hear about the early recordings cds being released and i pine for both of them. problem is, i am a plagued with being a broke ass college student, and at the moment i can only afford to get one of them. i'll eventually get both, because i am a junkie for mmj.

so my question is directed to someone who has listened to both of the discs. which one would be the better early morning shower cd for the time being?

I would say chapter 1,The Sandworm Cometh.I think "Week's Go By Like Days" is one of the best songs MMJ has recorded. It also has the cover of "Rocket Man" on it.

But chapter 2 has some of those showery kinda songs in them too.Either way,you can't go wrong.Hope this helps. ;)
