howdy, my morning jacket fans...
i'm pretty new to mmj and need some advice on which are the best albums to pick up.
I saw them play at Glastonbury festival in 2004 and was blown away. The only album i've bought so far is 'it still moves'. Which album should I get next (and why????)

You're probably going to want them all sooner or later :D
They're all great in different ways. Working from It Still Moves, I'd say get At Dawn next, then The Tennessee Fire. Of course there's a new one due out soon, and we'll all be talking about that here when it does, so maybe you want to wait for that one. There are some great live ones, and some early work (recently released) that I haven't heard yet. Not sure if that helps. Like I say, you can't really go wrong. Welcome to the gang, by the way.
Tennesse Fire is pretty rockin, and has a lot of Jim solo on his acoustic. At Dawn is very ethereal and has a lot mystique to it. I'd say to just buy them all, because they each have their gems and MMJ is a band that needs to be taken in its entirety, not just bits and pieces.

i got It Still Moves first and it sucked me in.. and then At Dawn really got to me, it is amazing!!
then get the rest of them when you get a chance...
