bummer. What a disgrace to such a darn cool name. I guess Jim never registered it.
A month of sundays is also a book that has released in 2005
There was no "A" in the band name. It was just Month of Sundays. I'm lucky enough to own a limited edition copy of the "Schools Out" 7 inch as Jim would always wear a paper bag on his head at shows. It had little eyes and mouth cut out so he could sing. I think he was a very shy individual.

scroll down to the very bottom.
oh yeah, there is a band called Panure that Patrick used to play drums for on there as well if your into the redneck metal.
ah so it was really Jim who started the mask band trend!
wow, i can really see the Doors' influence on them in that song "Bruise". Very Riders on the Storm-ish.
Holy crap, in the song "Bruise" there is quite possibly one of the best Jim James screams ever.
Anyone know anything about the history of this band? Like if Jim played guitar, or just sang for it? I don't know much of anything about it, except the guy who played lead guitar commited suicide some years after the this band.
I can really Jim's Nirvana influence too.
Jim was the lead guitarist and vocalist for the Louisville-based rock group Month of Sundays. They played their last show at Sparks in the fall of '97 i believe. Anyway i was there and Jim wore a fucking paper bag on his head the whole show which was a joke but pissed me off.
Original line-up included:
James Olliges:guitar,vocals
Aaron Todovich:guitar
Ben Blandford:bass
Dave Given:drums
Released records:
"Did You Bury Yourself Again" 12 inch
"Schools Out" 7 inch
Jim later went on to form his next band Hotel Roy.
They released one record "Helicopters".
are any of these on CD? I would love to get the Month of Sundays and all of that on CD...anybody have any mp3's that they'd wanna send to give me a taste?
sorry, both records are out of print. but you can probably still find the Hotel Roy CD at earx-tacy.
I love the Hotel Roy record.
Oh yeah, Meg. I've definitely got "Bruise" in my iTunes. I love that song, especially the scream that lasts for like 15 seconds. Dang, so there's no way to get these on CD? Or LP?
you can still get the month of sundays LP and 7" at

Actually, I don't think that would be "on the level", if you know what I mean. Since both releases are still available for purchase. Or maybe I'm just, if not you should post 'Ah Shit'
What in the fuck are you blabering about?
Since the music that you are proposing to distribute is under copyright I think it would be illegal for you to do so according to US copyright law.
(I'm not trying to be a hardass, but you asked me what I was "blabering" about).
Yeah, if they're still for sale, as LP's, then i think any kind of trading them is probably not "on the level"
Then no one shall hear this.
