QuoteI think we overcame self doubt, and kicked its ass

YYYYEEEEEAAAAAHHHHH!!!  Go!

whothrewthecake (and John Conaway) and everybody else who didn't listen yet, let's have a party in our own thread when it's finally released.

Everybody's welcome to come, of course.  But I think we need to have a party thread.  I love a party.

:)

Indeed. No seperate threads. Let's all party together!
By the way, the Z discussion thread is now eight pages long and I still haven't looked at it, pretty weird

i'm down for a par-tay. holding out is oh so sweet. the suspense is definitely building, almost like i'm about to give birth or something.

and Chills, i admire your restraint for not looking at the spoiler thread. i have glanced at it, but quickly move on when it's something i don't want to read.

HAHA.  I was totally at this press confrence.  When Jim said that the new album is "completed" you can hear someone clap in the background and he thanks that person... Ha! totally me.  I made Joss Stone giggle...

here's my photo of Jim that hot afternoon...

Hey, what was Joss Stone like?  Did she answer questions well?  Were her responses interesting?

Listen to the end of that clip on headphones. Right when he says "and kicked its ass". It goes all digital and bounces around through the stereo. It makes me want to make some moody techno song involving it.

Well, it would be a pretty damn good line to have running through a song.

Do it!

We could put it on the tribute album...  Seriously.  Actually, that would be very cool.

Stone seemed really sweet and she did a really good job answering questions but she seemed rather dim witted

Yeah she does seem like that, but when you think, she's only 18, she doesn't do too badly.

The way I've done something like that before is to play it, and at the same time use my audio recording program to capture it...  Does that make sense?

can i do that?

I don't know, can you?

(Do you mean legally?  Do you mean is it possible?)

Yeah, I use my creative recorder.  If I want to steal sound bites from DVDs that I like (for mixed cds and stuff), I play the DVD, and record it that way.  I can't remember what audio recording program you have (whatever you used to stick our layers in for our song).  But see if you can open that at the same time, and try to capture it.  It may not be the most unbelieveable transfer (or the wisest - there may be a better way, this is just the way I did it), but it works pretty good, and you can hear it.

:)
