Wasn't quite sure what to think of this one. They didn't use "southern fried" (thankfully), and seemed to give Z a very positive review.
But they ragged the hell out of ISM. :-/
strange review.
i read popmatters usually twice a week, and their reviews are always strange, even compared to pitchfork. i guess i agree with them about the same percentage as pitchfork, but usually when i disagree, we're on opposite ends of the spectrum. if you think their reviews are bad/confusing, by all means stay the fuck away from their articles. ive seen some of the most riduculous things mentioned in their articles. it something different though, i guess.... noted i'll stay away. I don't really like picthforks reviews either...
