Has anyone heard this new track by MMJ on the 'Louisville is for Lovers' CD compilation?
Nah, do you have a link for it?
is it only sold at Ear X-Tacy? I might have my friend pick it up for me this weekend when he goes home.
Couldn't find a link for the life of me and I believe it is only sold at ear x-tacy. i'll keep searching.
Thanks.
I'm heading to Ear X-tacy after work today. I'll check it out and report back.

How do I sleep at night knowing there is a song out there that I haven't heard yet? How exciting.
You can rest easily because i just bought the cd last night and the MMJ track was just Jim dropping beats on his omnichord. how dissappointing. the track clocks in at just under 2 minutes. its not even a MMJ song, it's just Jim. waste of money.
oh cmon, the same could be said about breathin, but breathin kicks ass...
i still wanna hear this one

I wouldn't go that far.
I've got a copy of the cd and I'd recommend it to anyone. It seems to be the best reviewed in the series and there are some really nice tracks on it from some other interesting Louisville artists. I've read reviews that describe the MMJ track as "like a videogame" to "playful" to "halfassed". I'd opt more for "playful". I personally think it's some groovin' little action. I may need to check out "Breathin".
"half-assed" about sums it up.
I think it's kind of funny. Reminds me of the old music tech stuff. I think it's cool that he still contributes to the Louisville is for Lovers discs even though it's a small Louisville project.
Have we established yet whether you can get the LisforL outside of Louisville?

(thanks guys - sorry, i didn't even look at the other page. lazy bum.)
No problem. I have been toying with the idea of buying this one as well as the older ones they offer. A former co-op I worked with at our office is on one of them as well. He and his brother along with their two girlfriends recorded a song for one of them under the name "Double Date".
