what are your favorite MMJ songs to play?
1. Bermuda Highway - just a beautiful song and I can handle the chords, they aren't to difficult
2. One Big Holliday - Ok, so I suck but I play the lead line and my buddy plucks my e-string for me to do the bass line part. We are thinking about trying out for "So You Think You Have Talent" next year.
SOOOO many! I'll try to narrow it down to my very favorite.
With other folks:
Picture of You
It's About Twilight
Anytime
The Way That He Sings
Evelyn is Not Real
The Bear
Alone or with backing vocals and the acoustic:
If All Else Fails
I Won't Cry
Come Closer
Isobella
Hopefully
Oh shit how could I forget One Big Holiday! And Run Thru! Well, there are too many to be named. I think Mahgeeta will make it on to the list but I just figured that one out a few days ago.
I got Dondante down pat on air guitar. I can put some serious emotion into it too. ;)
(Damn I wish I could play something.)
i love jamming to What A Wonderful Man with my friend on the drums. Pretty simple song to play.
Does air guitar count, or am I not allowed to play? :-[
Well, I'm pretty sucky... but I like hitting a few notes from Butch Cassidy...
STEAM ENGINE
oddly enough, "I Can't Wait". never been released, but i like the chord progression a ton. somethin about it is just really cool. very simple, but not boring from a guitarist's standpoint.
and golden. i mean, c'mon.
and i think i'm going to hell.
off the record, too. that one's just frickin to jam out on. me and my friend who plays drums love to just rock out the outro on it. possibly one of the sweetest jacket live moments.

Never heard of using a firearm for a musical instrument... I'll have to try 'Sooner' with the Thompson (http://theartofbradsmith.com/TommyGun.mpg) someday.

here's the deal. hold down on nosthrille with a finger from one hand. start humming a tune. with every note change, "strum" the other nosthrille with the forefinger of thine opposing hand. it might take a little practice, but you get the idear.
