It's at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood.
September 14th from 6-8pm in the back bar room.

the hotel cafe is a fab spot for the listening! i don't know that i'll be able to make the time b/c i'm working in culver city. :-/ sometimes i have to work late when i haven't planned for it.
BUT i am hoping to see black keys at the avalon that night.
a little mmj then black keys would make for a swell night! :D

Unfortunately the timing wasn't better but I worked with what I could and tried to get the word out. Several people who I expected to come couldn't make it for various reasons.
Mainly it was me and ms yvon, although she came towards the end and wasn't able to listen to the whole thing. Other two dudes showed up but they didn't stay very long and several others recognized the band and stayed to listen for a while. What was funny is MMJ got the bartender and the other dude working dancing!!!
OKONOKOS sounded awesome on the house sound system , especially the 2 guitar parts spaced out like that. It sounds even better on headphones.
I think I just may have to have another listening party!!!

btw, the door man was also a fan of the band and was digging the live album. he asked me about their tourdates and we talked for a bit.
