So, I was watching my Austin DVD last night, and it occured to me, that the only time I have ever heard Patrick do the drum solo at the end of Steam Engine was during the 6/6/03 Austin DVD and the OKONOKOS! DVD. Does he only do the solo when it is being recorded for video? Do you guys ever remember him doing it at any other show, ever?

Wow, nice one!

Do you think he somehow knew he was being filmed by a video phone, and therefore decided he must do the solo? ;) ;D

When they opened up for Bob Dylan here in Louisville in 03 they ended the set with Pat's drum solo on steam engine.

The Roseland show in November he did it.
