The song A Beautiful Morning by The Rascals came on at work today and it reminded me of MMJ. The backing vocal oooooohs and aaaaahhh's sound kinda like Wordless Chorus. I know Jim likes a lot of the music from that era, i was raised on the oldies myself and really have grown to appreciate that more.

this is a good song, buddy. i prefer groovin' myself, but anything the rascals do is ok by me.
the one "oldies" tune that i find strikingly "jacketesque" is tin man by america, especially towards the end of the song. if anyone wants to hear the song, pm me and i'll make you an oldies cd.
A Beautiful Morning, Groovin...both GREAT songs. We can't forget People Got to be Free......would be a great cover for MMJ (IMO)
