the band would jam from one song to the next...like dondante into run thru, or steam engine into sooner or something like that. But shit, im not in the band...

Not "really" but I know what you mean. It would be awesome if they played "Wonderful Man" and jammed it into "I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man" at the end of a show.
Every once and a while they have woven songs together with an ambiance on the keyboard, but I've only seen them actually jam from one song to another on a couple of occasions - I think Bonnaroo 2006 was the best example of that... I may be wrong but I think it usually involves them blending a cover song with an original.
Bonnaroo 2006 gave us Loving Cup (Rolling Stones) / Early Morning Rebel, which was pretty awesome.
also from bonarroo that year: Older Guys-->Head Held High (both cover songs)
also from bonarroo and else where they blended portions of a fela kuti song with dondante.
