Does anybody know if Jim's previous band, Month of Sunday, ever recorded anything? I would love to hear some of that!
I've got a full length LP and an EP. I can't remember what site I got them off of. Mabey someone else can help. Riny?
Sweatboard, what does it sound like?
Kind of southern fried with some Jam Band influence.
Actually it's kind of cool, I haven't listened that much (once) but there is some pretty heavy guitar and screaming going on. Not much similarity to My Morning Jacket at all. The EP they did was after the full length and was really pretty good a little more melodic, there was one song on it that I played over and over again that I thought was stunning. I liked the records but it didn't make me want to start a Month Of Sunday's tribute band or anything. Interesting to hear Jim's voice in a different context though. I think I remember the lyrics being pretty bad. I need to go back and listen though.
