Jim's comments on Patricks work on Evil Urges is dead on. He's impeccable on this album. At times its so crisp it sounds like a drum machine (Touch Me pt II). Also, if you havent listened closely to the end of Im Amazed, give it another listen. First of all, when Jim sings "like the rhythm of the earth/and the rhythm of the ages/like the rhythm I get disrupted, for a split second the count goes from quarter time to half time. A small thing, yes, but tied in with the lyrics I just love it. Also, just listen to the last 40 seconds or so, I swear on my eyes its like Patrick has 4 arms. As far as the rhythm is concerned that little clip might be his best work on the album.
