I have been a MMJ fan for a long time, so when Evil Urges came out, I was pretty pumped. I refrained from listening to any of the songs (save Evil Urges and Touch Me Pt 2) until I had the CD in my hands. It was strange to hear the band producing sounds that, while familiar, were new to me. But now, I've listened to Evil Urges so many times that all of the songs have entered my MMJ vernacular. A "Look at You" is now like a "Wordless Chorus" or a "Easy Morning Rebel" or what have you. I have used up my stockpile of new MMJ that took months of willpower and giddy anticipation to store up. I guess I should be grateful that Evil Urges is so excellent. And thank god for live music.
