My Morning Jacket

Every time I see MMJ perform on a late night show or something, the host always introduces them as "My MORNING Jacket", with emphasis on Morning.  I've always just said all three words with equal emphasis.  Who do you guys say it?

Also, how do you guys say "Okonokos"?  I typically say "okOnokos", all with long O sounds, emphasis on the second O.  I could see saying it "okonOkos", though, with the emphasis on the third syllable.  I know maybe these sound like dumb questions, but I just realized that honestly, I don't know.  lol

I say "My Morning Jacket" like this:

And "Okonokos" like this:
u/u/

(For those who are not phonetics dorks-- u=unstressed, /=stressed)

oh, they're not that bad..of course, I only know about them through my kids (well thats my excuse anyway!)

yea, I should be more tolerant and accepting... I really dislike My Chemical romantics.

I just say JACKET...I like to keep things simple

huh, i've always gone with uu/u for Okonokos...

As for Acousticitsuoca, I try and go for Acoustic it-soo-oak-uh. Sometimes it turns into sit-soo-oak-uh, but I don't like that so much, because there aren't enough letters there for that to happen phonetically.

Same here, Tom.  Makes more sense if you put 'em together:  Acousticcitsuoca.  Or maybe just Acousticitsuoca.

you know what I can't stand, when you tell someone about My Morning Jacket and they automatically think that its an emo band like my chemical romance .. blah ... and then they wont listen to what u have to say!
