They've played a myriad of covers, so there a bound to be some all time faves out there. I especially like A Quick One, Makes No Difference, and Move on Up.
I think my top three are A Quick One, The Wanderer and Rocket Man.

A Quick One
I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man
Black Sabbath
Rocket Man
Tyrone
In no particular order.
God! I loved when Conor, M, and Jim did a cover of "Girl From the North Country". That was breathtaking. I would LOVE to see just MMJ do that one....have they?

Have to agree there. Top draw cover.
Hit it and Quit it is up there with A Quick One. Lovin' Cup is made to be covered as well, and they nail it. Hell I'd have to say just about every song from 'roo '06, especially when they melt into Head Held High.
However, Move On Up gets my vote for best live only because I do not think it was possible to pull off that song with any better timing, whether it be in the setlist or when the setlist was played. Move On Up + NYE + Show Opener = Legendary. It takes balls to do that.
Tyrone gets my vote for best recorded.
And didn't they cover Don't Fear the Reaper with Wilco?

Yep, well Jim played guitar while Pat and Tommy played Tambourine. That was a fun night!

No one has mentioned New Morning yet?!!
TYRONE!
I like A Quick One, but it was a little too much like the original. I think the Rocket Man cover is great.

oh man, Dream A Little Dream is so beautiful, but my favorite has got to be Jim's solo cover of "Time of the Season". By leaps and bounds. So beautiful.

Seriously. I kind of would make love to this man if I were a woman and he sang me this?
