Title: (Fake) My Morning Jacket Interview
Post by: narwhal_on_ice on Dec 29, 2005, 08:14 AM
Hello all! I crafted this interview using only lyrics from the new album, and I thought I'd share it with ya. Add on if you wish!

So, what are some of the influences on this album?
What does this remind you of?

Well, I hear a lot of U2, Bruce Springsteen, Rolling Stones, and even some reggae in there.
We are the innovators. They are the immitators.

Umm...okay. A lot of people have been wondering "what will come after Z." What will the next album sound like?
A kitten on fire - a baby in a blender.

A lot of people became anxious between the release of It Still Moves and Z, but many are saying that it was worth the wait.
I know we didn't wait too long.

What took so long?
All I wanted to say - words only got in the way. But then I found another way to communicate.

I see that John Leckie helped produce this album.
What a wonderful man he was. What a sensible man he was. What a marvelous man he was.

Well,  I have to get going. Any quick words of advice?
Just believe and you can do.
