My Morning Jacket

I've had mine forever but never bothered to ask about this, Ive always assumed that the c&i lp was white and brown judging from the cd cover, pictures on the Internet etc. But when I got mine it was actually green and brown, I don't know any other jacket fans so I've never actually been able to compare it to another one. Would someone like to tell me if what I've got is normal or maybe something rare?? Sorry this is kinda dumb but I was curious  ;D

Mine is blue and white. Came only in a clear plastic sleeve.

Was the original pressing brown and white??? Always wondered.

The first pressing was brown and yellow.  I think the other pressing was brown and blue.  Kory would know more about this.

Brown and white was the first pressing. There were at least two different pressings after that in different colors.

I didn't know they pressed a third but that sounds like what you have. First was supposed to be white and brown but looks more yellow/cream. Second pressing was blue and white but I hadn't heard of green and brown until now.

I used to get duplicates of everything, but I finally got tired of all of the intentional variants designed specifically to drain the wallets of suckers like me. Something starts of being advertised as super limited edition, then it isn't, after a few months. Acoustic Citsuoca comes to mind. I own four or five variants of that, at least.

I remember those months when they were reissuing everything is what i'd like to call "sucker colors"... I think you and I came to the same conclusion together Brad.

I have duplicates of everything, one stays sealed, one gets played, some dupes are the different colors... sucker colors.
I also keep a copy of the cd tucked away after it get's ripped to itunes and on the ipod.
