Well the evil urges tour has come and gone. it's been over a year.. they probably have a bucket of new songs. Any song hopes for this tour? Any songs that you think need to be taken off the shelf? Make a set you'd hope to see. Also, what will be the song to open the tour? Let the spirits guide you.
WAR BEGUN.....i need to see it live
also, O' is the One that is Real needs to come back asap.
Honest Man

QuoteWAR BEGUN.....i need to see it live
Really hoping for this. After I saw the clip on YouTube of this song in Nashville (fireworks) I decided not to listen to it again in hopes of being completely blown away if and when I got to see it live.
I will need them to play the following-

I don't know about a full set list, but I'd love to hear Master Plan, Strangulation, and Chills. I'm thinking with the horns we might get something crazy like El Caporal.
I would expect with an opening band that they go back to the 20-22 song sets. I would love if they just would throw in 2-3 rarities every night. You know, Where To Begin, How Do You Know, El Caporal, When Will They Come, Masterplan, Strangulation, By My Car. How about a Weeks Go By Like Days! Long is the road!
Id like 2-4 new songs, but I wouldnt know where Id want them in the set without hearing them. Or if they will play any in the first place. I'll probably forget about a few songs, and Ill try not to put too many bustouts, but off the top of the domepiece:

I'm looking for something to keep it fresh. How about debuting El Caporal live? We shouldn't be demanding any new songs, but if they play their hearts out like they always do, we should be in for a hell of a time.
I'll still play this game though...

Excellent choices, especially AC. At Dawn slays me.
I have been listening to my entire MMJ collection on shuffle during my 45 minute commute this past week and ask myself, for each song, how many times I'm likely to hear it going to the first three shows in April. Example:
Off the Record- 3 times
Wordless Chorus- 2 times
Steam Engine- 1 time (please)
At Dawn- once
Dondante- three times!
You get the picture.
Posted this on the shows board a couple weeks ago.

They can add a couple new songs where they see fit
every time somebody makes a new post with songs it makes me realize how massive this band truly is. the crazy thing is they aren't stopping (knock on wood). so if they keep it up, these set lists could get seriously intense.

Sure, I'll bite. Don't think they're gonna play any new tunes. Do they even have new tunes nailed down? Have they been recording? How should we know - it's not like this site should update us with this type of info or anything...
Anyways, i digress...22-24 songs max. No marathon shows, you guys. Well, maybe for Nashville & Atlanta - they love yous guys so you might get an extra or two.

lowdown is such a great song. at my first real jacket headlining show they played lowdown and jim said some banter about how one part of it was inspired by bone thugz. I wish I could remember exactly how he explained it but he just said he sings "bone, bone, bone, bone" or something during that one part. regardless of my explanation it was pretty funny. this was the first set I saw I guess technically:

I was at bonnaroo 04 and saw most of their set (that's what made it click on for me) but that doesn't really count, that was a really weird day. great show, if anybody sees this and knows where I could grab this show that would be bad ass. awesome set.
