they had a contest for the dear god video.  entries were submitted on you tube.  maybe this is one of the entries?  (it's not the winner though).

"In addition to a contest-winning music video to their soulful single, "Dear God," the trio have uploaded a new semi-animated video by Lauri Faggioni, who has directed similarly styled work for the likes of Devendra Banhart, Iron & Wine, and Bright Eyes in the past"

Or so it says here: http://www.twentyfourbit.com/post/484801127/new-monsters-of-folk-video-dear-god

Or if you want a funnier quote here: http://stereogum.com/323501/monsters-of-folk-dear-god-sincerely-m-o-f-video/video/

"Members Jim James, M. Ward, Mike Mogis, and Conor Oberst are likely busy with their other projects, so you don't get to see them here — a bummer if you were hoping to see what the universe inside James's beard looked like"

;)

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!!!

It remindes me of little big planet.  Also, I like how it moves past the tree branches when Conor is talking about moving trees.

I thought the same thing, though I was thinking of a film called "The Powers of Ten", by Ray and Charles Eames (1977).  I will use this in my classroom.  Thanks!
