In the last part of the song on the album version it seems that they are speaking french in the background and I was wondering if anyone here has or can find a transcipt of this so it can be translated or if any french speaking peoples can figure it out.
I assume its something cool and 'off the record'
It's backwards. There's an mp3 of it reversed and it's really not that "cool". I'm pretty sure it Tommy's speaking voice. I'll post the mp3 soon if someone doesn't beat me to it.

I always thought it was French too dude, I'd been trying to translate that shit for years, but it just wasn't clear enough. Perhaps because its backwards? ::)

Honestly, I haven't listened to it but once and not very closely, so I have no idea what it says, if anything. I remember playing a segment of Pink Floyd's The Wall backward and you could clearly hear what was said. Not so much with Off the Record.
Gotta love getting ready for work and Off the Record comes on the radio... :bath: of course it was on XPN out of Philly because there is no way in hell a station in Harrisburg would play MMJ.
My random MMJ moment of the day....
I never understood why the coda to Off The Record goes nowhere. In concert it fucking rocks. On album it's very tedious and pointless (i.e., no highs or lows).
