It's on the Removador website.
And it's quite a breath of fresh air so far. My inner hack music critic thinks it sounds like MMJ meets the Jayhawks ;)
UPDATE: Forsake and Combine is awesome. I envy all of you headed to the release party.
Diggin' it. I feel a lot of Arlo Guthrie but I hear ya with the rough Jayhawks comparison
Listening now. :)
Is there going to be a cd release or is it just digital?
I picked up the vinyl last night and it comes with digital download all for 15 bones! You can also order it on the karatebodyrecords.com website if you want the record... I think it may only be available at finer record stores countrywide.
Just bought the CD at EarXtacy for $11.23 including shipping! Hard copies LIVE!!!!!
This is great! Hats off to JQ! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

good stuff. quite enjoyed that.
Loner in Disguise and According to the Matador have excellent guitar solos! I definitely hear a lot of the It Still Moves sound. Big ups to Johnny Quaid. (I've listened to this album probably 8 times in the last two days and am somewhat surprised by the lack of attention it's received here. Oh well, no biggie.)
Finally got mine in the mail. Sounds great. I think it's especially cool and says a lot that Carl Broemel plays the pedal steel on three songs. Good to see Kevin Ratterman and Jake Heustis of Wax Fang contributing on several songs as well. Kevin even produces! According To The Matador is my favorite song so far.
Oh, and awesome pictures Riny! And I'm not just saying that. I was thinking how cool the pictures on the inside were and then saw your name in the credits. Can you tell me where those were taken? I love the night shot with the wet street reflections.
thanks BH. the photos were taken during various road trips around the world. exact locations are unknown because they are all taken when i was a little lost. i always get lost during road trips. i do remember i was somewhere south of ohio when i shot the cover.

When I first heard the pedal steel on South Of Ohio I thought of Carl.
The album is awesome. I keep listening on the website. I really should get around to ordering it.

I know I am very late to the party here, but I just bought Slight Spell from the Removador website and I have to say I am very happy that I finally did. Awesome stuff. Eight really great songs. And something about the vibe of Track 7 "Forsake and Combine" reminded me of It Still Moves in the best way possible.
I know I don't know any of the people in these bands personally or anything, but I find it very refreshing to see them in a situation like this where they parted ways amicably a few years ago but can get back together and be cool again and help each other out with various projects. It's just a nice counter-point to the d-----bag, a--hole rockstar crap you see guys pull like the guys in Kings of Leon.
