From the stunning opener Mahgeetah to the beautiful rendition of Phone went west, last night's performance at the Bowery Ballroom was simply espectacular.
Opening act Sleepy Jackson put the disperse crowd in the mood for what was about to come. For nearly two hours MMJ rocked the venue and every single one of the dawgs present in the small room left more than satisfied. Besides some minor problems with the guitar strings, well handled by a jokester Jim, the show went on between the inexhaustible cheers of the fans.
If it's true what Jim said, that the band comes back to the city every other week, the big apple will be the most blessed city in the months to come.
Yes never use Ernie Ball strings and always use alternate tunings according to Jim.
