conan, look out!
Is this going to be taped and shown on TV or are they playing the festival that they have every year? The festival is not shown on TV.
That is good good news..these guys' hard work is paying off with bigger and more respectable venues and spots.
Still can't say enough good things about them. They rock and it shows.

Austin City Limits Pregnant with Great Bands; Births Demon Child Who Looks and Acts Like David Spade
The Austin based live music show, which is filmed in the basement of the University of Texas Communications building, has showcased an array of artists, from the late great Ray Charles to Leonard Cohen and Spoon. Austin City Limits, now a music festival, has also been showcasing artists in the heart of Texas for the past two years now and are about to enter its 3rd year with a bang bigger than what started this silly universe of ours.
This year's line-up is seriously too INCREDIBLE, and believe me that's no exaggeration. Pixies, Wilco, Modest Mouse, Neko Case, and Spoon are just a few of the countless bands that will rock your socks off in Austin, Texas on September 17th, 18th and 19th.
For 3 days, 8 stages, and 130 bands, you can't go wrong by purchasing the 3-day pass for only $75 (price will go up closer to festival time). If you are travelling from far away, don't worry; the ACL Festival website will help you with everything from cheap hotels to what bar-b-q you should eat while you stay in Austin. Magnificent!
Other bands playing and totally worth mentioning are Broken Social Scene, Cat Power, Franz Ferdinand, American Analog Set, My Morning Jacket, Calexico, Gomez, Ben Kweller, Centro-matic, Old 97's, and loads more.
Hope to see you in Texas, cheese face.
1030 Miles from Louisville to Austin...three day weekend...this is beyond a road trip, this is an adventure!
(scratching chin thoughtfully...considering.....)
Here is the website for the ACL festival...the line-up is STELLAR!
