Wow, this is awesome. The home page says that Jim will be joining other great artists in performing songs in tribute to Gram Parsons, one of THE gods of American music, and the ultimate godfather of all this alt-country thing. The July dates will no doubt be awesome, and I'm green with envy of all of you in the L.A. area! Not to mention that Jim will be performing with Jay Farrar, my OTHER single music hero! I have no doubt this will be a once-in-a-lifetime tribute show, so cheers to Jim and Jay for being a part of it!
