Title: New european tour?
Post by: lfish on Aug 25, 2004, 04:56 AM
I guess many Europeans are dying to receive an answer to this question.

So, September and October is filled with US-touring.  Is there any chance (Riny) the jacket will soon be flying over and kick ass as hell?

I have here a beer waiting on them... If this one can help?

AP Newswire...August 25, 2004.

CC Baxter announces a European tour with stops in Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, Barcelona, Munich, London, and Rome.  The "Kick Ass as Hell" tour, sponsored by Maker's Mark bourbon whiskey and Gorton's Fish Sticks, is already sold out in at least four of the seven stops, allegedly due to the rumor that a reformed Led Zeppelin will be the opening act, with Jason Bonham on drums.  CC Baxter's manager, Riny, was unavailable for comment at press time, but a voicemail received from Mr. Riny confirms the near Lollapalooza sized Stage 2, that includes such acts as a reincarnated Jim Morrison and Jimi Hendrix, The Byrds, Molly Hatchet, Zebra, and Winger, who recently regrouped to record a cover album of Junior Brown songs.

When reached for comment, Mr. Riny was giddy with excitement:  "man, seeing the ghosts of Morrison and Hendrix jamming together on stage was almost as cool as seeing Elvis last year, when he opened up for The Beatles on the "holy shit, they're back from the dead" tour.  Molly Ringwald, the tour manager for CC Baxter, had this to say about the aforementioned "Kick Ass as Hell" tour:  "All I can say is that Judd Nelson has the worst breath ever.  Those half-gloves he wears are starting to smell like sour milk."

Rolling Stone magazine declares Riny "the most awesome dude on earth.  Really, he didn't even flinch when we suggested a cover of he and Christina Aquilera sprawled across a red Ferrai."

QuoteRumours were spread that fluffy the vampire slayer will do the back up's...

According to her website, Ms. Gellar is teaming up with Mars Volta and the Dixie Chicks to release a cover of "Green Onions" by Booker T and the MG's...fresh off a tour with Staind, Ms. Gellar had this to say about Arby's Jamoca shake:  "man, I wouldn't drink one of those again if it were the last laxative-flavored drink on the planet".

When reached for comment, Lars Ulrich speculated that Ms. Gellar is just too much a snob to eat at Arby's:  "Dude, we're talking about Arby's here.  Who hasn't had a late night craving for a nondairy, frozen spectacle of a drink?"
