I heard on the radio that the boys are playing under a pseudonym @ Main St. Lounge w/ VHS or Beta for Tsunami Relief. Tonight midnight to 4a.m.

What I heard was that a couple of the boys might help with DJing the event with Craig from Vhs or Beta for the Tsunami Relief.I know that is going around town here with at a lot of venues in town with some local bands.But that's just what I thought was going on.That would be cool if they did play,but I doubt it,since they would probably raise more money if they announced that MMJ were playing.But still I don't know for sure.

But I emailed the DJ @ WFPK (the one who made the announcement) and she confirmed "that they are playing
under the name Cap'n Goodies with VHS or Beta a/k/a Kit Chaps."
Main St. Lounge's website only says "House/Hip-hop mix from VHS or Beta."

Did anyone go to the Main Street Lounge to find out if indeed our boys were playing Saturday night?Just wondering cause I couldn't make it.

Yeah, we went last night and there was no sign of them - we got there around 1:00 am and it was just rap/funk/ dj'ed music - no sign of a band set up or anything. It was weird. We stayed for a few minutes, then left. Bummer - There didn't seem to be any relief aid collecting either. Was this all some huge rumor or what???

Ray Lamontagne played at my club a few weeks ago! He was really lovely! I chatted with his bass player. I liked him, too.
