I heard there will be 2 nights in Philly (mid-October) at the TLA. ::)
I heard they will be opening for GWAR @ the Highland Tap Room.
WARNING: THE FOLLOWING IS HOPE DISGUISED AS SPECULATION
IT IS BASED ON NOTHING ONLY EVER BELIEVE RINY
2 dates? Does that mean that the London show might possibly be a model for what's to come? Does that mean there might potentially be solo gigs and band gigs everywhere? Or in certain places?
AGAIN, SPECULATION (sincere hope) DON'T BELIEVE IT!!

i can't even think about this happening. it would be too good to be true. how fun!
That's good. Don't think about it happening. Because I think I should not have written that because I don't want anyone to think it's true, or get excited and then have it not be true.
:)
I would kill to see a Jim solo date. Anyone ever been to one that would cast their feelings on how awesome it was?
PLEASE COME TO PLAY LUPO'S IN PROVIDENCE, RI!!!
PLEASE!!!!
I second the Lupos request...please, please, please, play Lupos. Or anywhere in Providence for that matter.
Lupos isn't the same since they moved to the strand shows have to end so early there. However Lupo's HeartBreak Hotel was one of the best venues in all on New England when it exsisted.
this is very true...though I never had a chance to see a show at the heartbreak hotel, everyone I hear talking about Lupos always mentions that the Strand just isn't the same, and w/ my experiences at the strand, I can see what they mean. Seeing a show at the Strand is like seeing a rock show in a very chic dance club...the shows have to end really early, and as you are leaving your rock show, you can see all the clubbers rolling in to take over for the rest of the night. It just doesn't feel like a rock 'n roll venue to me. But, I still want MMJ to play there...just because I do.
Just found out! As I posted at The Traders Den:
The Detroit show is Tuesday Oct 25, @ the awesome St. Andrews Hall. Shit, I haven't been there for a show in years, and it's still the best concert venue in Detroit. And no lie, that's saying something.
