MMJ freakin rocked Lancaster once again.
Too bad I had to work late or I would have been there. How full was the Chameleon anyways? When they played there in Jan. '04 it was packed, but that was a friday night. Did they pack the place on a Tuesday?
Yeah, can we get details on this show? :)
Anyone have the setlist from this show?
The Chameleon Club was pretty packed last night. Maybe even more so then in January! It was an awesome show. Jim mentioned his vivid memories of playing Mageetah at this place 2 years ago and said it was one of the most memorable performances from the tour. Maybe he said something like that at every show though. Anyway, I was lucky enough to grap a setlist from the stage. here it is:
Wordless Chorus
It Beats For You
Gideon
One Big Holiday
Golden
Sooner
What a Wonderful Man
Off the Record
Lay Low
Dondante
Run Thru
encore:
The Dark
Lowdown
Hopefully (Jim Solo) not on setlist
Another song not on the setlist that I did not recognize..sorry
Magheetah
Anytime
I was kind of dissapointed that they didn't play The Way That He Sings since that is my favorite and it looks like they have been playing it everywhere else. Oh yeah, does anyone else know that was up with the bread? Have they been doing that at all of the other shows? Jim brought a loaf of bread on stage and held it during Wordless Chorus, then halfway through the encore it was distributed through the crowd.
THE DARK?!!!! WOW!!! :)
(The bread might've been a reference to the Bread cover they've been doing. Or maybe Jim thought he was Jesus. ;))
hahaha a loaf of bread. oh man, hopefully solo!!! i would love to see that.
supposedly they distributed pbj's in san diego last year. sounds like the band's getting lazy.
I can only speculate that that song was "The Dark". Sadly i have not yet purchased the Tennesee Fire, and it only said "dark" on the setlist. It kind of segwayed into Lowdown Can anyone else confirm this. A Bread cover? Maybe that is what the song was that I didn't recognize. It had 'bread' hadwritten in the setlist between two songs, but that is also when the distributed it to the crowd.
that was The Dark. to me its always sounded like a barroom monster mash. great show.
yeah, the lancaster show was awesome!!! i was wondering abou the bread as well... when jim was holding it during the first song i thought maybe it was some kind of weird comfort object or something. unfortunately i didn't get any bread as i was upstairs w/ the 21 and under crowd.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Holy crap that just made me laugh really hard.
WOW! The Dark!! I'd love to hear that one again. I'm glad they decided to polish off some old gems for us. Man, I can't wait for the Palace and it's still over a month away!
Hey Lancaster people, could you identify yourselves. I just moved to UTah from Millersville. I was wondering if I knew any of you guys. I get to see them in SLC in a few weeks. I'm psyched.
