well what can i say i think the phx show was amazing. I mean I know i have been excited to see this show but this show blew me out of the water. First of all let me give a big compliment to saul williams, he was amazing. I love it when a band challenges an audience. Well here is the official setlist as i got one from the stage.

This show was awesome the highlights for me were One big holiday/what a wonderful man/ run thru, and burmuda highway. Mahgeeta as a set closer is about the best you can ask for.
Well i am emotionally spent and need to go to bed. It was awesome meeting jim james after the show and having him sign the setlist. THanks jim. I hope all that see mmj at la zona rosa in austin enjoy them i wish i was there.
while I was truly blown away by how much fun MMJ is live, i found the marquee show really kinda short. They sure did pack a punch in what they played, but by my calculations, it was about a 1:24 minute concert. has this been pretty standard or what? i sorta attributed it to end-of-tour weariness, but only 15 songs??? wish they'd give out a 2 hour performance... but really no complaints right here.
Dondante and Run Thru were astounding. Jim-turned-neil young on dondante was just fabulous. liked the sax too.
nice to hear the few oldies as well.
looks a little shorter than normal.
hope they got some rest last night, as we are prepared for some rock in texas
