Following is a list I did of all the songs MMJ played on their fall tour. It only includes the shows that are on archive.org. It's much better, more detailed and easier to read on my Excel Spreadsheet but I don't know how to insert it on the message board. Also, if anyone knows where I can get more setlists to add to this I would apreciate it.
Note: The Letter designates show and the number is what order it was played.

Again, I really wish I could paste the spreadsheet in here, it's a lot easier to read. Any ideas?
You can get an idea of how many songs were played at each venue by looking at what number Mahgeetah was played since it was almost always last.
I am especially insterested in anyone who can give me a setlist with a song that was not played on the above list. I am trying to see how much of the catalog I can put together just from the '05 tour.
Too much time on my hands.....
Bermuda Hitchhiker,
Thanks for your efforts on putting this list together. I am hoping that a bunch of you collectors of live shows will come forward and put something together. I will help you how I can, if I can! I only have two shows (I taped three but my tapes were horrible in Atlanta and Knoxville, only passable in Dallas) - I have the Dallas show and the DC
show, but I know that Atlanta and Knoxville were made available here or on archive.org or somewhere else.
Also, not sure about "Oxen" being a cover, I think that's the same song as How Could I Know from the Off the Record EP. Maybe you're thinking of another song or I'm wrong about it. Some of you whiz kids get together and put it together! I have a friend who can help. I am going to take care of your request to hear Honest Man (not that it's hard to get, they did it a lot in the past and I'm sure it's available on several good tapes). I had my friend Sitter work on my 7/16/02 show from Houston. Kory is going to put it up as soon as I can get it to him. He also worked on the Feb 5, 2002 Dallas show. Both of these shows are only about 45
minutes because they were the openers. But they *rock*,
needless to say. Honest Man is almost 11 minutes and Johnny and Jim just Tear It Up! Nuff sed, I appreciate your efforts in compiling this list. If some of you cats and gals wanna send your shows to me I'll see if Sitter can work his magic and we'll put together a compilation and tree it.

Your right, I went and listened to it and it's
How Could I Know. Set List at Archive said Oxen and I forgot to go back and check it. I have fixed it on the post and my spreadsheet!
Glad to hear you recall Honest Man. I havn't put the pre-05 shows together yet. I would love to hear the version you speak of!
Notice that the last Louisville show on the 23rd has 21 of the 40 songs on the list. We could add the other 19 from a few of the other shows.
"One in The Same" was performed on the summer tour '04....also done oon the Bright Eyes/M Ward/Jim tour
I don't know how y'all cut/copy paste from the original transcripts, but Bermuda Hitchhiker wrote out a list of all of the songs that were played on the 2005 tour. You (BH) had The Bear marked off as not played but I believe (just going on memory here) that it was played at one of the really long SF Fillmore shows. Because they did something like The Bear/Oxen/Death is the Easy Way back-to-back-to back, I think? Anyway, I could be wrong, I haven't looked it up. My friend Sitter can probably help if needed, he kinda laughed about the fact that I volunteered him for something in advance without asking him. Not sure how you (BH) want to do this, if it happens. The way that they did it over on the Rustlist with Neil's 1999 solo tour was to try to represent every show that was taped. But of course every show was taped and represented with *very good quality* tapes. I think that's the way to go with this thing - if the Louisville show/shows were that much better-sounding than everything else you got from the other shows, then I'd use Louisville. Just my two cents, thanks again for trying to put this together. Other than The Bear, that's the only omission off the top of my head and that could be wrong!

Keep in mind, my list only includes the shows that are available on archive. The San Fran shows are not on there. I don't even have any other setlists. As more shows go up on archive, I can add to my list, or, we can go back to the older shows to pick up some of the songs that don't show up on '05 tour.
I think representing as many shows as possible is a good idea, not just using all of Louisville.
Dave
Also, when I get a bit of extra time, I will do another similar list for archived '04 shows. I am sure this would pick up quite a few more of the "crossed out" songs.
On the Neil Young CD's, how did they do the order of the songs? Was it completely random, or did they follow the album orders?
Dave
I think that this is a great idea, but why limit this compilation to 2005 shows? I have an outstanding 4-CD Mofro compilation that a fan put together of their best live performances. It really helped introduce me to Mofro when I barely knew of them. I would love it if something similar with MMJ live performances was available. It would seem that it would not be too hard to compile such a list given the knowledge of fans on this forum.
Since you've only had a chance to list the show available on archive.org, maybe you/myself/someone else can figure out which shows aren't on archive but are listed and available somewhere else. Are any of your tapers and traders out there sitting on any tapes that aren't available on this list that Dave's put together? I have to figure that both of the SF
shows are in someone's possession here. And I am almost certain that Knoxville and Nashville were put up here
and/or made available through some kind taper. That Nashville show was off the charts, and the only MMJ show that I have seen (about 30) that I didn't tape! Bad idea, as Jim would sing. But I think that I read that a good tape was finally found. Oh well, maybe we can figure it out! I am not a great organizer, understatement of the year.
As for that Neil compilation, that was 70 songs, five discs, unbelievable sound quality on every song. But no, there wasn't a specific order on the way that they put them together. They were completely random: I think they probably just made sure that they could get the discs as full as possible to prevent it becoming a six disc venture! So if you kids are just sittin' around with your thumbs up your asses and you have some of these shows that aren't listed please contact Dave or myself or this thread and let's try to get as many songs as we can from this last tour. It'll be "gorgeousness and gorgeosity made flesh" (A Clockwork Orange)

Nice tenn! That is actually the only show I have been lucky enough to attend and I was too hammered to remember the setlist. Were you there? Are you from the "other" Lou? Apparently I saw a rare '05 performance of The Bear and I didn't even know it. Damn! I thought I remember Steam Engine but I have had so many songs and live shows running through my head lately I can't keep them straight. I love seeing all the setlists. However, I am only going to add them to my list if there is an audio source somewhere that can be added to our project! But keep sending the setlists if you can!
