So, what do you think would be a good set to open for PJ and blow some minds.
1. Wordless chorus
2. O is the one (I'd like it if they used this instead of It beats for you ot follow Wordless I think it would work great)
3. Anytime
4. Mahgeetah
5. One Big Holliday
6. Gideon
7. Don Dante
8. Run Thru
what do i / we think would be good, or what do i / we think theyll actually play? i need to know the rules. :D
What would YOU like to see them playing in the opening set. :D
Sweatboard's list is a definite possibility. I think they'll throw in a new cover or two for this opening slot. Seems like they always throw in something new each time on the road. They may also re-visit some of the older tunes like they did on the last tour ("I think I'm going to hell", "Picture of You", etc...).
im not going to any of the shows, so i dont wanna think of something too masturbatory, but here goes...
1. wordless chorus
2. gideon
3. golden
4. one big holiday
5. lay low
6. don dante
7. anytime
8. run thru
thats more of what i think theyll play, other than my total fanboy wishlist.

I think Gideon would be an awesome song to follow Wordless, I'm just not a big fan of "It Beats For You" live. I love it on the album though.

i love It Beats 4 U, both live and on the album, but i think it works better live, personally. the freak out at the end really gets the crowd going, or at least it did at every one of the shows i saw last year. :D
I think I've just heard it to much for to long. They've been playing it since the "It Still Moves" tour.
I would hope for at least one "solo" song that is just acoustic and Jim. (Goldon/Bermuda Highway/Death is the Easy Way/Old Sept Blues) I think this would go over well with PJ fans who get an occasional emotional song like that from Eddie. Can anyone name a single performer that can rival the emotion that Jim and Eddie put into their vocals night in and night out? If I was lucky enough to be at one of these shows I might have to bring some tissues. (For a different reason than jrat! ;))
If your going to do a solo acoustic song you better do it right after run-thru while the audience is still in stunned silence. Otherwise there is going to be to much chatter to get it across.
i think off the record will defnitely be played.
Ohh I'm gonna cry if they don't play Easy Morning Rebel, even if they typically dont. But hey, a girl can dream. Especially a girl who's never seen them live. 8)
I am so f'in amped to see this tour...i'll be seeing opening night in toronto, the show in washington, and the closer in East rutherford....
