Ok, I'll make it short
I remember a post about the band not 'ruling anything out' concerning a fan who wanted them to perform @ his wedding after touring with Z..........so
80 loyal MMJ fans put up $125 each
this my friend.....multiplies into $10,000
this in turn =The Best Backyard Concert you will ever give to your ears to enjoy!
Anyone want to sign up?
Helllllll yes.
I'm in!
Hmmm... Where would said concert be?
Louisville-ish? Nashville-ish?
I thought of louisville since the band wouldn't have the expenses concerning travel
or Mt. Washington, Ky :) (my family lives there)
for $125 it better be a three day MMJ festival.
okey dokey. Count me in!
Well, he could lower the cost and get a bigger backyard to hold more people. :)
Sounds like a shitload of fun and I'd definitely be in if it's within 4-6 hours from where I live (in Alabama).
I suggest Nagoya, Japan.
Swing it this way & i'll put up $1,000. No winking smiley, no kidding, no bullshit.
$1,500?
Wow, this really is a masterplan. I would more than likely be in.
i say canada. it's cheaper, we let you smoke pot, if you're a girl you can marry a girl and we have normal cheese and many vegetarian options.
ummmm, i am offically offering my dad's farm. he just got a new fence. ;)
if it was in nagoya, i'd at least have half a chance of getting there... although my house would be SO much better. you'd all be on the ultra-exclusive guest list, naturally
we have normal cheese too (what is ABnormal cheese EC??) and great beer
:)
I'm in if ou wait till next year, or atleast after October 3d, so I will have some vacation time
St. Louis is right in the very center of the world. I am thinking of everybody here. It has nothing to do with the fact that I live there. My dad has 63 acres that would work perfect. I can put about 150 pork shoulders in the smoker. Meg, I'll make you something very special with no flesh whatsoever.
if this did actually come into fruition, i would have to go, anywhere in the US or Canada. but what about the pot in louisville, cause i couldnt get ANY over the border, and wouldnt even try to be honest? know any good hookups?
where do I send my check?
So Ive been reading these boards for over a year now but never got around to signing up, that is until today. I know nobody has ever heard of me but i would be totally down for this wherever it may be. Anything to get out of the AZ heat.
I've got a 315 acre farm in Ohio outside of cincy where we can do it. we could even get some cows up on stage with the band!
I would definitely be down. I have a question though. I had every intention of seeing Jim's solo show at the Grand Opening of the 21c before it was cancelled :(. Is the fee for Jim still $10,000, or is it less? Don't get me wrong I love the entire band, but I have never had the opportunity to see Jim solo which I expect would be amazing.
I'm in, as long as they let memphis2kentucky sing with them when they play Masterplan.
We could probably get like... 50 people in Tracy's backyard. I vote for that 'cause he's got a stream back there. And I'd get to see Sparky. He'd have to sit in my lap.

What do the cows play? Tambourine? Triangle? Kazoo? Or will they just lend their MoOOooOos? ;D

i can dig it, that's very close to me. :)

maybe we could take turns with that magical dog? maybe you could bring mr. p and the wee lad could sing backups on wordless chorus? ;) ooooooooh god.
okay, i officially state that i will amend my no more travel rule if something like this happened.

I like THAT idea!.....just no making fun of any voice cracking during the rendition
I have a friend/event promoter here in memphis who has been putting up shows for over 10 years...I proposed my idea to him briefly and he said that the idea IS plausible but A LOT has to be put into consideration concerning stage/assembly/generators/collection of money/etc.....
but it CAN be done
I'll be talking to him more in the next week about it and relay any info i obtain ASAP
Any other ideas/suggestions are greatly appreciated....
Just think....we can consruct the possible first ever concert put solely together by the fans for the fans!!

I would love to, if I was living in the states, but I'm not. buhu.. I want to especially now in the summer because I want to got Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo. =(
Just put the tickets on eBay and sell as many as it takes to get it done! Sell them as MM Jackets, S, M, L and XL. ;)
MMJ should just do a farm tour. Just playin farms. They could play right at my brothers here in rural pennsylvania.
SERIOUSLY!!!
lets do it!!!
i'm in 100%... i know a lot of kids who wear the jacket but aren't as nerdy as us to be on message boards...
they'd TOTALLY be in too though!!!
lets do it!!!!
Definitely in, it's a damn awesome masterplan. i definitely say around lousivillish, just for convenience for the guys really...125 is a lot, but gimmie a break, that would be incredible. one might have to worry about security and local cops, etc. i know in NC they have this gigantic three day festival/party with bands and shit, it's been going on for like 20 yrs but it's real hush hush, pretty cool. i would definitely be there, lets just make it a saturday though? if whoevers masterplan this was would like any help pm me, not that i would know how to go about this, but i'd def be willing to help.
