This show also busted my jacket "cherry" as well, and this
show was my 5 year old twins very first show ever! I'm really
glad I took them.
I've got some crappy photos, and video. I'll have to figure out
how to post here in a few, but I'll get them here. I believe I have wonderful man, and wordless chorus are complete, everything else is bit's and pieces.
BEST version of Off the Record I've ever heard! It was cool to see how many people chose to see the Jacket. They were on opposite the Raconteurs which was a crappy overlap! The band gets better each time I see them. Jim had a lot of wicked screams in yesterday, he was in fine, fine voice!
And Jim told this sweet story about being a highschooler in 1994 and being at Lollapalooza in Cincinnati seeing a bunch of cool bands like the Verve, Beastie Boys, the Breeders, A Tribe Called Quest, Smashing Pumpkins, etc. He said he had a little dream that day that he would one day play Lollpalooza. And then he thanked everyone for choosing to see them! It thought it really cool for him to share that.
