Here is a great video I found on youtube of the fellas doing what they do best. That was by far the best version of Wordless Chorus I've ever heard, and this video starts at the best part. Sends chills down my spine. It was absolute madness. One of the best moments of my life. This reflects everything perfectly. Sorry if this has already been posted (it's worth watching again if so!).

I love watching Jim strut during that song!
Can anyone identify the three dudes dancing on stage. I guess one of them is Mike "Desalvo".
Mike Szabo was one of them, i think K.C. Gueting (former drummer) was another, and the other guy i have no idea...
K.C. is on the bongos so it can't be him.
I don't know who they were but those background dancers were doing the best beattle Bob impersonation I've ever seen.

did he play bongos on "Worldess Chorus"?
i cant beleive i never noticed the strutting! hahah thats awesome. master of all, and he knows it
well, it oughtta be Mr. Andrew Bird, Mike DeSalvo/Zsabo, Mr. KC Geutig, and our very own Riny, folks. That man gave me a free pack of free cigarettes. He schooled me about Europe. I deserved it.

i'm glad someone noticed that. it was pretty easy though, bob was doin his thing right in front of us.
sabo and dr. friedrich von guggenheim were rockin my flanks.
Ahhhhh Beetle Bob. He is from my neck of the woods and I have been seeing shows with him since I was a kid 15 years ago! You always knew if you saw beetle bob than you were at the place to be. That man is amazing. When I started seeing him at national shows on dvd's that I own I freaked out. That's hilarious that you guys mentioned him. He goes to live music 6-7 nights a week and still does his nine to fiver every day. My hero......
The first time I saw Jacket live was at ACL in 2004. Beetle Bob was there.

P.S. It wasn't till recently that it was pointed out to me that Jacket played It Beats For You during that set. I guess I didn't realize this because I was kind of in shock and couldn't absord anything, truly. I think I almost blacked out after the big holiday guitar solo.

MY ARMS ARE IN THAT VIDEO
Remember how much more awesome that show would've been if 50 lame press people didn't get the privelege of being in front of the actual fans
Man, Beatle Bob is pretty much my ultimate hero. I saw him a few times that weekend, but this one time he walked right in front of me and I probably had this look on my face like "Oh My God This Guy Is AWESOME!!!! and he kind of smiled at me" My friend was going to get my picture with him and now I'm really kicking myself for not asking him. Oh well, I'll probably see him around again someday, and when I DO get my picture with him I'm going to blow it up poster size and hang it in the dinning room.
I'm probably going to sound like a retard, but who is Beatle Bob?
beatle bob is this guy who just shows up at concerts and festivals all over the country. I'm not exactly sure how, but he always has VIP passes, just because he's made a name for himself. He simply shows up at a concert and dances.
here's an interview with him:

Bonnaroo 2006 MMJ show was the best of my year. I've been assimilated.. I have a short clip from my camera about three minutes long of "it beats 4u" of that show. I was sitting in the handicapped seating next to the sound tables. I know how you must feel, I'm starting to feel like one of those crazy girlie fans you see obsessed with their favorite band...funny now cause I'm 31.

Happy belated Birthday Grandpa! ;)
Hope you had a good one!

Wildflower-I am a grouchy 48 year old man and MMJ turns me into a crazy boy fan! Welcome to the club, you are gonna' love it! ( I have about 15 short clips from that same show, just wish I had the complete Wordless Chorus)
The whole show is out there in .wav format. Maybe somebody can help point me to the link? I would mail it too if you want to send me some self addressed post.

I don't think there were 50 press people in front of the fans. In fact I was 4 rows back directly in front of jim and there were no noticeable press people in front of me other than the two cameramen and maybe a few photographers.
And there's a link to the full audio in FLAC format in a thread under The Shows.
