Bermuda Highway for me...
Please Night 1 in dallas or austin !!
What about everyone else?
i wanted the bear and thats the song they opened with in knoxville so i was pretty excited. i also wanted to hear steam engine live which they ended up playing also.
strangulation please.
Knot Comes Loose, why don't they ever play that song?!
Cobra - the longer the better!

Nah, they didn't play steam engine, did they? Or was I that drunk?

I agree...they played it in ATL last year on the Z tour and it was the shit.... a definite stand out live.
I guess Steam Engine is my favorite song and I havn't got to hear that live yet so I better pick that. If I could pick a rarity, I would go with By My Car or The Bear. Or if I could pick anything at all, it would be CAN U SEE THE HARD HELMUT ON MY HEAD? but I don't think they have done that in the history of MMJ live. Unless someone can prove me wrong, please do.
I want to hear "The Bear" or "Nashville To Kentucky". Never seen those tunes live. Just saw they played "Easy Morning Rebel"!!! Love that song, and was lucky enough to have them use is as an opener in Austin once.
knot comes loose
Quoteknot comes loose
Either that one or Rollin Back.
Dondante
Steam Engine or Honest Man.
JUST BECAUSE I DO!!!!
that was one of the tunes that got me amped bout MMJ... i just love it!!
good to see RollinBack in rotation though...
so glad i'm going to two shows!!!
There was no Steam Engine in Knox, but I got over it because of Phone Went West
Chills
that is first.. but i have many more of course....
I would love a War Begun in Boston. Or Cobra, or By My Car... I'm greedy, I want them all.
I also want a ticket to the show, but thats another story.
I'm a Master Plan freak.
I love that song as well and they hardly ever play it anymore.
I have about 20 friends going to the Boston show who all wantt o hear War Begun very badly. I'm braving personal injury to go see the show (I recently had a hip tumor removed)
I'll be in the front row. With crutches.
I Think I'm Going To Hell or Strangulation. Fetus--I'll be right there with ya, you with crutches and me with my $20,000 replacement leg ;D
in Boston i really want to hear the following:
#1 STEAM ENGINE
also:
War Begun
THE BEAR
I Will Be There When You Die
Picture of You
Bermuda Highway
Heartbreakin Man
Strangulation
any of those two and I'll be a happy camper
MMJFanatic or Fetus - what time do doors open at the Avalon??
My tix say 7:00 but I would say that is the earliest they will be open. When I went to a show at little sister club Axis tix said 7:30 and it was almost 8 before they let us in...
I'm hanging around the Avalon all day December 2nd. I hope that replacement leg was covered by insurance, man.
I might shed a tear if I hear a beautiful 'I Will Be There When You Die.'
at milwaukee, i would love to see a few. in no order, i would like to see: can you see the hard helmet on my head, honest man, masterplan, cobra, and where to begin...all would be cool.
I got Hopefully at the pre-show thing and At Dawn at the show. I was more than happy.
Dondante......and BRING BACK COBRA!!!!
Come Closer and Master Plan in Philly on Dec.1 - PLEASE
Come Closer.
Have they ever played this live? Incredible song. Also, Rollin Back would be huge.
Strangulation
This song has so many layers to it. It is a stand out amongst many amazibng compositions.
Golden, One Big Holiday, Dondante
these may be the best songs of their type, but Strangulation
is
Sonic, creepy, haunting, ghastly, endearing, enduring, timeless, sad, joyous, soaring, spiritual, horrific, poignant, revealing, concealing and destructive.
It's so good it is the only song with an exclamation mark
Strangulation!
Ya know...I've thought about this long and hard. We know the majority of the setlist has been solid on this tour, but you can see that they are rotating certain tunes and stuff. So If I had to pick just one that I may not hear than night, that I absolutely "have" to hear would be "Steam"
So hopefully the steam engine runs thru Chicago on the 24th.
I'd go with Steam Engine too. Have heard it live a couple of times and love how it has a particular way of levitating the crowd. But, I should be able to pick two because i am seeing them in nyc and philly! Have always wanted to hear One in the Same. That would be such a treat to have that played live and be there for it.
My top 10 never heard live.
Come Closer
I Will Be There When You Die
Picture Of You
War Begun
Make It With You (what a great cover. Jim's voice is made for this).
They Ran
Old September Blues
How Do You Know
Tyrone (Jim's version better than the original, imho)
Hot Burrito No 1. (another beautiful song made for Jim)
::)
Honest Man. They seem to be pulling this one from the vault this tour. I am excited for the Philly show.
Thanks Pearl Jam for introducing me to this incredible band.
