Hey y'all...the volume presale is happening now at tickets.com or through the 9:30 site. No password needed.
I'll be there Tuesday night.
anyone else going to the Tuesday night show?????
I grabbed tickets for both nights. :)
I wish I could have got both. I grew up 45mins away from the 9:30 club, but now i go to Penn State and the drive down and missing classes left me with only 1 show to go to. 9:30 is such a cool place for shows.
Wow...you're coming from quite a distance away! I recently moved down here, so getting to both shows shouldn't be too difficult. It takes me about 15 minutes to drive to the club from my apt. I work in DC, so I may take the bus or metro to the shows.
We'll probably do pre-game somewhere near the club on Tuesday...I'll keep you posted as the date gets closer.
it's going to be about a 3hr and 45min trip down there, but....I'll stay overnight at my folks house .
yeah, let me know if people are getting together before hand.
presale isnt till the 11th...
Quotepresale isnt till the 11th...
NOt on the 9:30 club website.
I posted this last week when the 9:30 Club did their own pre-sale. Both shows were available for 2 or 3 days, but that pre-sale is now closed.
If you didn't get tickets last week, you still have the MMJ pre-sale and the regular public on-sale coming up.
I'm (thankfully) already ticketed for both nights. Good luck and see you there!
gettin both nights tiks tonight! woooooo
Any idea how to get the pre-sale? Not seeing the link. Thanks.
It's over. The pre sale for this site goes up tomorrow though.
Who's the goose? Me, I guess. Oh well, what I get for sleeping on the board. Thanks for info. Just saw them wrap up the European tour in London. SHOW WAS SICK. Can't wait.
what's the password for the official site's pre-sale? i signed up for the updates, bought okonokos, etc but unless it hit my spam, i never got a head's up.
i've been limping since allgood to these november shows at the 930.

that's where you'll get a password.
OOPS!!
yeah i had but didn't connect the dots.
what a wonderful man you was. thanks!
i've been told that tickets.com have tickets for sale without pre-sale stuff, and it has been the case for a week or so. I haven't checked since I have mine already, but for those who don't have the passwords, maybe check out tickets.com
Wow, that was a chore but I got both dates. Can't wait to rock out with MMJ.
missed the pre-sale...did anyone else have problems getting in?
Gotta hope to hit the public on sale dates for the Avalon.
anyone have an idea of how many of the tix they sold pre-sale or if the Avalon show is GA?
tickets.com has the tickets on sale.
thanks, but not for the Avalon (Boston show).
They have Knoxville, Milwaukee and the 9:30 CLUB
Unless I am missing something?
ahhhh, I just assumed people were talking about the 930 club. Sorry about that.
anymore members from the board going to the 9:30 Club show? one of them at least?
me.
Im goin to both.. its gunna be sick.. gettin there early and get a balcony spot.. nice place to jam out
front row, im going to fight to the death.
From the 9:30 Club site:
My Morning Jacket on 11/28 is now sold out.
OK...here are the set times according to the good folks at the 9:30 Club:
7:30 Doors
8:30 The Slip
9:45 My Morning Jacket
I actually want to hear the Slip, so I'll probably get there by 8 for at least one of the nights.
Who's in for pre-game?
if I make it down from PA in time for some pre-gamen then I would be down. I don't have a definitive time for me leaving up here yet, though. I want to make sure I get a parking spot in the lot, too. Sometimes your car gets f'd with when parking in the alley ways near 930.
Which night(s) are you coming down for? I'm thinking Cafe St. Ex might be a good spot. Decent food and good beer selection (if you like Belgian beers).
I'm going both nights. With tomorrow sold out, I may be solo. On Tuesday will have a couple of folks with me.
Oh, parking may be sold out. If you're able to get there by doors, you shouldn't have a problem parking. I normally park on the street behind the club and have never had any trouble.
does anyone have extra tix for tuesday nite in DC? Sam
as it looks right now, I wont even be in MD until 6 and then will head straight to the club on Tuesday, so pre-gaming for me looks like a no go. Hopefully I can make it there before doors to get the lot. I have been in the lot everytime I've driven, but there's been times when I've ridden with people and glass bottles were placed under car tires and trash thrown all over the car....but that stuff can happen in any big city.
When you park on the street behind the club do you mean like directly behind the club? or the side alley where the line to go into the club forms with a large line?
Need one ticket to tonights show.
My father is flying in from San Diego and wanted to go; a little multi-generational MMJ fandom.

Re: Parking-
The lot is behind the 930 Club.
You pass the club (on your right) and immediately turn right. The parking is guarded by attendants and was $10 the last time I was there.
yeah, I know about the lot that is monitored by the 9:30 Club, I hope to make it in time to get a spot there, but I was wondering where people park who do not get the lot that has been safe for their cars.
The street that I usually get a spot on is on the hospital side of the club. I come up from 7th to V (club is ahead on left) and make the first left (that may be 8th Street) to park. It looks desolate, but for sold out shows the area will be packed. If you head straight to the club, you should be able to get a decent street space.
I haven't parked in the 9:30 lot since they started selling the parking passes online. It's always sold out.
