so the Blue Room and XM Radio are covering Lollapalooza, but they ARE NOT covering the Jacket set...what gives?!?
anybody know how to catch this set tonight?!?
i know bro....it sucks....i dunno what's goin on other than currenttv.com's MMJ project....but we won't be able to see that compilation until sept and who knows how the quality will be
side note: did you see paolo nutini just cover the "wanna be like you" song from The Jungle Book disney movie???
Pearl Jam is on at 9 eastern, if that's any consolation.
I did. i really dig him. kinda like if Popeye was singing to you... They played his 3 best songs during that 15 minute set.
It's just like Amy Winehouse to bw 10 minutes late to the webcast... Okay, here we go...
they are showing Interpol during MMJ's time...didn't they play LAST NITE?!?
not a Amy Winehouse fan.... but yeah....at least some PJ to help cure my pain
not a huge winehouse fan either, but she is covering some classic R&B/Soul tunes from the 60s and 70s
it's possible that since they are playing with the youth orchestra, the orchestra itself had problems getting signed on with att.
>:( >:( >:(
They at least had the Hold Steady last night and Kings Of Leon earlier today. Bit mifed they are playing Interpol who played last night.

the KOL set was pretty sweet!
yeah...that is lame...playing a set that was the night before. how can you not play the Jacket...seriously...somebody at AT&T has their head up their A$$
What was up with Caleeb's hair? He looked a'ight, I was just kinda surprised as I was not expecting him to cut it. My wife went oooof when she saw him with out the long girlie like hair. he looked better with out the locks.
any word on the Jacket set???
just received word they closed with "Run Thru" and played a new song!
Nice! I'm holding out that Eddie is going to invite the boys out at the end of there set for a big jam. (Hey, a guy can wish can't he?)

ha ha...agreed!!!
well here's ben....as expected....maybe jim will be following
That was sweet.
yeah....i was bouncin in my desk chair....pretty badass.....rodman is also prolly gonna lay pipe to that chick
Why don't Pearl Jam write their own anthem to close their shows with?
Ed ended the night on Rodman's shoulders....you know it was a good show.
;D
Good political night for PJ...railing against BP/Aamaco, getting censored during Daughter for saying something about Bush during the Floyd tag and bringing the Vet on stage to play "No More" with Ben Harper.
yeah...the censoring after the bush comment was BS

Big PJ fan...I think part of it is that they owe their career to so many other people. Ed mentioned all the other bands a few times, and they always treat their openers well.
They never really were an opening band for anyone, just hit it off, right place at the right time and took off. That's obviously a testament and tribute to their work with Neil, and sends their point of politics across as well.
That was not a night to end on Ledbetter.
;)
agreed
I was almost like a Hold Steady show, bringing everyone up on stage at the end.
;D

Big PJ fan too (saw them play their debut UK show soon after 10 was released)
I knew when I wrote that that it would get a few people's backs up ;)

Very nice.
:D
It was great to get Alive and RVM in there too...Alive has all the meaning intertwined with the people who died in 2000...so I love to hear that one, and they'll close with it every once in a while.
Hope we get a MMJ boot or something soon to hold us over.
Was very pissed off they didn't air MMJ >:( but Kings of Leon were tight!!!!
