Well, as of 10/29/07, 10:34AM PST, the Fillmore still does not have anything booked from December 27th through the New Year. Not a 'YES', but I'll take 'MAYBE' over 'NO'.
I wonder if anyone's bookend at the palace or headliner's. Here's hoping they do their hometown right!
the fillmore is still open after december 26...
"there's stiiiilll tiiiiiiimmmmmme" ;)
Nobody's called yet about reserving my backyard either. *crosses fingers* ::)

i feel that....
I do hope that they confirm soon as I would like to start making plans and make a trip of it with my fiancée.
I planned this with my fiancée and still remember the 3 amazing concerts at the Fillmore so vividly! I'd have to say that the New Year's Eve concert was the best concert we've ever been to hands down!
They have to play NYE somewhere right??? where ever they play, i promise i will be there. NYE was the show that changed MY life forever, so im coming up on my 1 year aniv. Fillmore would be great though...seeing as how it IS the greatest venue in the greatest city.
Whatever!
I'm still bitter that the West Coast got those NYE shows last year. The West Coast has seen Enough LOVE, it's time they started showing the South why they Love them the most. :) Thanksgiving, Christmas, NYE, Flag Day, Dr. King JR.'s B-Day, July 4, and Columbus Day. AL, TN, GA, KY, SC, MS, AR

Well, they really don't HAVE to play NYE anywhere. They've made it known to us that they're focused on finishing their album, and those efforts may carry through the New Year.
(By the way, the Fillmore still isn't booked...)
the south and the west had their fun...
they didn't play in minneapolis last tour, so its obvious that they will be playing here for a NYE run!!! (which doesn't make any sense, but i'm a dreamer)
lets fight

I keep bugging my sf crew for any news...i have "friends of friends" who work for LiveNation. No news yet....
Wasn't it right about now that they announced the NYE shows last year? Perhaps the Fillmore is pulling for MMJ (the venue is not known for the "friendliest" or most accommodating staff, however, I personally witnessed the kindest, most happy staff on NYE last year......).
still crossing fingers.....the Fillmore is known for running the same NYE show year after year if it is fun (Les Claypool dominated for like 8 years in a row). Of course, as much as I would be personally stoked to be in the presence of the jacket on NYE, if they are dropping a new album and touring it next year, maybe they deserve to be home for the holidays.....(which of course may fair well for you Kentucky kids)....
their job is to entertain us

Thats about the most selfish comment I have read on this forum.
BAD FUNKY

This has gotten me fired up! I was thinking that I might have to go a full year without seeing my favorite band play was kinda getting me down. The idea of them booking the palace for NYE just sounds so freaking sweet! I mean I can think of many better places to spend NYE than Louisville, but damn how awesome would this be?
