they remind me of a prop from "He-Man"--like something that Skeletor character would wear.

:D LOL!  Yeah I know what you mean!

Kory's Snake boots look like something the guys from KISS would've worn 30 years ago. :D

BTW, When in the world did Jim wear skeleton boots?  ???

how did Jim go from barefoot to ski boots?  man, they look snuggly warm and comfortable.  maybe that's "Winter Jim" and barefoot is "Summer Jim"....

Those are replicas of what Gene Simmons wore on the destroyer tour that are for sale on ebay...

As far as the haloween costume... did anyone see the costume that someone was trying to sell for 100 bucks on ebay? It was like a he-man torso... maybe the boots were part of a haloween costume after all...

If it were autographed, I could have seen it selling. Although very few households have the required wall space to display a human torso halloween costume that Jim James wore...

;D  Seriously, when I saw it I was looking for gig posters and for a brief second I thought "what would that look like on my wall?"  I decided it'd be creepy, but if I could have got the boots with it ... well then that would have been another story.

Girl with man's torso on wall... kinda creepy, slightly...

Dude with man's torso on wall (autographed or not)... well, that's not just creepy, it's downright scary.   :-/

He was wearing them at the Boston show (and on Conan I guess).

JC--I know what you mean about the barefeet--it seems Jim has moved away from the country boy thang.

well, I don't think he's moved away from it per se, but he's certainly seems like he's experimenting with different looks.

he's young, he can get away with that...man, I had a mullet at one point in the past.  I don't see him doing THAT, but he's a rock star!  he can wear just about anything and make it look COOL.

And the rock star moves seem to be coming out of him more and more over time as their following grows--he is way more animated with his axes then he was just a coupla years back even

You've got it on your wall, don't you... yea, I'll go check it out... how do I know you're not trying to lure me to your house like an internet predator with torsos on the wall...
haha! :D

Are there any pics or footage from the latest Conan perormance?  I'd love to see it if it's available.

The Conan thing was posted on youtube and I think he was wearing those boots at the Louisville show too.  Check that thread for some of the pictures posted.  :)
