Title: A Peace Offering
Post by: shockadow on May 14, 2008, 08:51 AM
Since I have been such a nuisiance her over the p[ast couple of weeks, I want to make nice.  Next 10 people to post their e-mail will get to pick a MMJ album and I'll send you a bootleg of a show from that tour.    My collection is pretty diverse and I have many stellar shows from each tour so I think i can make this happen.
If you'd rather have a bootleg from a different band, that's cool too.  I hope this isn't frowned upon by the demi-mods but if so, consider the offer renigged.  Again,...  Tracy, Johnconway(sp).  you guys especially.  I'm not a jerk always....
Again, I'm sorry for being uncool...  I'm working on my KARMA so that i can get really great seats for the Atlanta Fabulous Fox show that goes on sale on Saturday morning.  Anyone who is going, post here and i'll buy you a beer and a bowl at the show.

Yeah, on other forums, they call it a "Permanant Permavein".
Take what you want, and give what you have to the next guy.   And so on down the line.  I was hoping this would morph into something like that.  I guess we'll see, huh?
I gotcha though.  CDs out (hopefully) by weekend's end...

!^%#!^#!#%$$$%#

man, im always like 1 or 2 ppl too late for these deals

that karma still radiating rusty?

hell, ill burn and trade you some cd's if that'll do it...Im just on the start of what feels like another 3 month bender on MMJ. EU and that SNL performance has got my siked, not to mention floor tix to 10/10 in chi-town. Ill need something to go b/n the At Dawn, It Still Moves, and Z rotation, right?

Dont know youre tastes, but I got tons of live phish, tons of underground hip hop, and pretty much something here and there in a bunch of other genres. im sure we could work something out

Okay, the disks have been burned and i am assembling the packages this week.  Sorry for the delay.  Hope you guys love the show.  It's a classic from the tour just before Z came out.  They were previewing some of the new songs(just like they are now) from the new album, Z.  A fuckin' killer cover, too!
When I get them all mailed I will send you all a info file with the setlist and details.  I'll post the love here, too.
I'll save the location/date of the show as a surprize until then.

PS-  I made copies for everyone on the list.  I think it was a few more than 10 but i didn't wanna leave anyone out.

Alright kiddies,  The disks are in the mail.  I hope you all love the show.  It's a very special one for me because it was my virgin show with the boys.   Nothing has ever been the same since.  Because most of you chose "it still moves" with a "Z" straggler, i picked this one.

This is why MMJ fans are so awesome! I'm sure that the 10 have been chosen so I'll keep my eye on the prize if there is a next time!

Friend-

Got mine today. listening to it right now.  you have no idea how much appreciated this is right now.  I'm dealing with studying for the bar exam, and having this to listen to while i'm taking a break is beautiful.

I appreciate it very much.  if you are going to the RCMH show i owe you a drink.

thanks again.

Shocka, thanks a ton!  I still cannot believe this is what you sent.  It was my cherry popper too, and I live in Athens and go to the 40 Watt all the time, but I hadn't heard it since.  Went nuts when I opened it!

Rusty, this is truly wonderful and one of the nice things a stranger has ever done for me. But you are no stranger anymore, friend. Let your Karma pour down on your soul like the music is pouring on mine. Thank you! 8-)
