Title: Predict songs MMJ will play off Evil Urges
Post by: pjmmj86 on Jun 12, 2008, 01:54 PM
What's up guys, I'm new to the boards here. Going to see them this year (Philly!!) as I'm sure many of you are. Was wondering what songs off of Evil Urges you guys think/hope they will play.

I'll think they will definitely play Evil Urges, Highly Suspicious, Touch Me Pt. 2, Aluminum Park and I'm Amazed. However, I really hope they play Two Halves, Smokin From Shootin and especially Remnants as well.

I also hope they play Steam Engine and Run Thru a lot during this tour. I saw them play Run Thru a couple years ago and I think everybody should be able to witness the awesomeness of that song live.

Its not a long album and I expect them to play 3 hours; I can see them getting it all in there. Im sure they're pumped to play some new songs after nearly 3 years.

That could be a good and a bad thing. Good because its great to hear new songs, bad because there is always a few malcontents complaining about it. I saw Iron and Wine last fall, 2nd row, it was amazing. He played Sheppard's Dog in its entirety with an 8 piece band, but some drunk clown behind me screamed "Trapeze Swinger!!!" after every song.

I'm pretty sure that Spin The Bottle is involved.  It's really the only way to get down to the nutz and boltz.
